BASEBALL & SOFTBALL TRAINING
MEET OUR INSTRUCTORS
The bottom was the first video we took of this HS player. He threw across his body and was all over the place with his command. Now we have him going in a straighter line towards home and is able to use his trunk a lot more efficiently to deliver the ball and has more command because of it.
We see a lot of young pitchers with a 50-65 degree trunk tilt at ball release. Elite pitchers are between 30-40 degrees.
We see this constantly with young players...a short stride means many things but most of all loss of power! The average big league stride after weight transfer is between 45-55 degrees.
